The Process from Booking to Travelling Japan

There are many things to consider when booking your next holiday... But don't worry, that's our problem! Here is a sample of what the booking process looks like from your end. Beginning at your first enquiry and ending when you touch back down in your hometown! 

1. Initial Enquiry

  • You submit an enquiry via the website or social media

  • You’ll receive a warm, personalised reply within 24–48 hours

  • We’ll send you a Trip Information Guide with key details, dates, pricing, and inclusions
     

2. Discovery & Connection

  • We arrange a quick call or email conversation to:

    • Get to know you

    • Understand your travel experience and comfort level

    • Answer any questions or concerns
       

3. Securing Your Spot

  • Once you’re ready, you’ll:

    • Complete a simple booking form

    • Pay a deposit to secure your place

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps
     

4. Welcome Onboard

  • You’ll be officially welcomed into The Next Chapter Travel Co community

  • Access to a private group (e.g. Facebook/WhatsApp) with your fellow travellers

  • Start building connections before the trip begins 
     

5. Pre-Travel Guidance & Support

  • You’ll receive ongoing support including:

    • Travel tips specific to Japan

    • Packing suggestions

    • Cultural guidance (so you feel confident and prepared)

  • 50% payment due 60 days after booking
     

6. Flights & Travel Requirements

  • Guidance on:

    • Booking your flights

    • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

    • Passport & visa requirements (if applicable)

  • I can offer assistance with these even though I will not be booking them
     

7. Final Payments & Documentation

  • Final balance due by a set date

  • You’ll receive:

    • A detailed itinerary

    • Accommodation details

    • Important travel information

    • Emergency contacts
       

8. Pre-Departure Connection

  • Group check-in before departure

  • Final tips, reminders, and excitement building 

  • Opportunity to ask last-minute questions
     

9. Time to Travel 

  • You’ll meet your small group and begin your Japan adventure

  • I’ll be there to guide, support, and ensure everything runs smoothly

  • All you need to do is show up, relax, and enjoy the experience
